You are not paying for the extra costs involved in a franchise, where there are many stakeholders over and above the actual handyman that need to take their share of the fees charged — so this keeps costs low. John won’t perform or charge you for work that does not need to be done, and he gives clear reasons why he won’t proceed as planned and what the alternate choices might be. He also advises on ways to avoid problems in the future. For me, this kind of honesty and good communication is the essence of reliable service. I feel lucky to have located him.”
